Born Anne Williams in Brentwood, Essex, Greater East London, UK. Annie is the proud Mother of Actors Tom Ray Williams (Graduate 2023, The Royal Central School of Speech & Drama) and James George Williams (LAMDA Bronze 100% Distinction Pass and House of Talent trained). She is also the proud Mother of their sister, Sophia Williams.
Annie was encouraged to return to Modelling by a long known, renowned photographer, Nigel Holmes, who discovered Annie in the late 1980s, casting her in her first professional shoot. Returning to Modelling in her 40s, Annie went on to make appearances in commercials, music videos, invites for features on itv's This Morning Show and further worked on the previous The Wrightstuff show as a trusted, regular Live tv debater working alongside Presenter Matthew Wright and other celebrities. Annie was discovered by an acting agent when she was helping her eldest son Tom navigate his early acting career path. She was put forward for various roles, leading to appearances in films alongside stella casts, some of whom are pictured alongside Annie in the Gallery tab section. Annie has now made further feature film and short film appearances and more recently was cast in Netflix ONE DAY tv series, working under the Director, Molly Manners.
Annie took acting training in stage and screen when possible, including a Shakespeare course, all while raising her 3 children as a single Mother and working, running various self-employed businesses to fit around a busy family life. Now her family have grown and Annie is free to pusue the next chapter of her life, she is taking formal training in acting via her local theatre, studying with LAMDA.
During 2024, the London based acting agency Roberts & Day expanded, taking on a new Agent, Chloe Hart and Annie was thrilled after meeting with Chloe to be offered representation. For all enquiries, please find details under the Contact tab (for mobiles, use the blue drop down menu box).
