What an exciting year so far as we reach the end of Spring. Not only is the film The Bromley Boys Movie having it's world premiere at Wembley Stadium with international release in June, plus its been bought for USA distribution by Hyde Park Productions based in LA, I've been cast at my local theatre as Vixen in Bretch's The ThreePenny Opera! Vixen is one of the character Jenny's Whores and also goes out begging - all I'll say is Vixen takes pride in her frilly knickers haha. I'm thrilled to get the chance to appear on stage again with an amazing ensemble in July at The Victoria Hall Theatre in Old Harlow, which is based in the fringes of North East London and Essex boarders. My son Tommy Ray appears in the Bromley Boys too as a Bromley Player (football based film) and I was given the Credited role of Club Secretary of Bromley FC. We will be attending the Premiere together in May.

Despite completing a training course with The Actor's Cafe at Havering College for Creative Arts at the end of 2017, I attended a further workshop earlier this year in London held by US Actor and Director, Steven Ditmyer with his Meisner International company. This boosted my confidence further teaching how an Actor is permitted to loose his/her self consciousness and inhibitions to create whatever is required for a character role within the story line. So, whilst waiting for those all important auditions via Spotlight, I applied to my local theatre for an audition to be in this wonderful musical of ThreePenny Opera and hence my successful casting as a Whore haha. This role fills me with excitement and fun rather than self-consciousness! Come and see the show!
