Netflix - ONE DAY, 2024 tv series (Romcom)

After the pandemic, it was slow getting back to any acting as my then acting agent was a casualty of the industry closure so had to stream his UK client list for US based clients only. He relocated to the USA to join his partner and remains a friend. I'm self represented so was pleased to get my first post lockdown offer from self tape as a Teacher in a Birmingham school, in the new adaptation of ONE DAY. I got to put on my best West Midlands accent for the role (although this is heard off camera in the final edit) and work under BAFTA winning Director, Molly Manners. I was chuffed to make the final edit albeit, only seen walking to my seat after introducing the assembly guest performers to the hall of children. It was great fun, especially as the hall of child SAs actually thought I was a real teacher.
