I met Actor/Dir/Producer Nick Moran

February and March have been great with new alternative character look Headshots taken by AP Wilding. You'll see these latest images in my Gallery - Alexa wanted to capture a natural image shot with more intensity to give casting directors a better idea of the diversity that I can bring for varying character roles.

I had two approaches by Princess Productions to assist with a couple of Pilots. This was extremely flattering insofar as my appearances on The Wrightstuff daily debate show hadn't gone unnoticed. One of the pilots was for a comedy spoof to bring to tv the stand up comedian Tez Ilyas. I've since heard that BBC2 has commissioned The Mash Report and this was one of the pilots filmed. The experience filming to camera, again, invaluable for me. I was further asked by Lemonade Money Productions to assist with an animated comedy pilot currently being put together, exciting!

I was called by my agent with my first Spotlight Audition request too! So exciting and strangely, instead of being terribly nervous, I found I enjoyed the whole experience. If successful, I will act in short films to be aired as tv commercials - fingers crossed. Meanwhile, the cherry on the cake for me over the past 2 months has been meeting the actor Nick Moran at The Wrightstuff. We got chatting after the show; what an incredibly nice, friendly person and professional artist he is, I felt honoured. Nick took my details and I hope to work with him one day but mainly, I spoke of my son Tommy Ray (young Tom Hardy ha).

Some great news has been the notification by Director John Jencks of the London Première of The Hippopotamus movie at the BFI on 4th May 2017, with cinema release on the 2nd June 2017. This is so exciting too and I hope to attend the première.

So this exciting journey into the Performing Arts industry continues for me, not least for my son Tom who is training hard while awaiting auditions himself. We both have to hold down alternative work to financially tick us over, such is The Actor's Life. Lets see what the rest of April holds in store.......................
